Run Report ....
Sydney Entertainment Park, Bankstown Aerodrome, 19 June 2022 ....
At an invitation from Murray Austin, the Run Coordinator for the Monaro Club of NSW, we changed the venue for this months run to the Sydney Entertainment Park at Bankstown Airport.
The park management organised a small carpark carshow, with a number of car clubs present. This allowed us to put on a car display and enjoy the benefits the park has to offer such as electric go-carts and ten-pin bowling.
Our Torana group met-up with the Monaro club members at Maccas at Prestons, and after a brief from the two Run Coordinators, Bob and Murray, we where on our way for the short drive to the park.
The park is located indoors in a very large and modern facility with ample parking, allowing us to display the cars right at the front of the building. With the cars suitably displayed and following the normal carpark discussions we headed indoors to see what the park had to offer.
The Entertainment Park attractions are amazing, with something for everyone. Apart from the go-carts and ten pin bowling, there is a huge selection of electronic games and race simulators and an excellent café with a huge selection of foods, drinks and coffees.
Our time was spent with various sessions of spirited go-cart action, lunch and refreshments, and of course, plenty of space to just sit down and catch up with one another.
What a fun, surprising day. Thanks to everyone who attended and to the Monaro Club of NSW for their kind invitation and hospitality.
A relaxing and enjoyable day was had by all.
Cheers,
Steve.
