Run Report ....
Berrima, 07 April 2019 ....
With the sun shining, Bob Breeze, Pete Macken and myself headed-out of Leo's Diner towards Berrima, our venue for today's club run. It was a good trip down the motorway to Pheasants Nest where we were joined by Rob and Sharon. Back onto the motorway, then to Mittagong and the old highway, and soon we had reached our destination where we were met by Annie, Rose and Harold. Following our usual chat in the carpark, we adjourned into hotel for lunch. As the hotel is generally busy on Sundays, we ordered our meals promptly.
As always, the service at the Berrima Hotel was great, and in what seemed like no time at all, everyone was enjoying their meal. By 1:30pm, lunch was done, so we we headed outside where I gave a quick talk about the next month's run to Mount Tomah Gardens. It was then time to head for home and the cruise back along the old highway.
Attendees: Bob Breeze, Pete Macken, Rob Shaw, Sharon, Annie Hennessy, Rose and Harold and Bob Byrnes.
Apologies: Steve Hennessy, Gary and Kerry Thomas, Julie, Mark, Ron Gailey, Robin, Mike, Rob and Leanne Farnsworth, Mike and Gabrielle Holland, Mark and Heather Hennessy and Lance Haslewood.
