Run Report ....
Gerroa Fisherman's Club, 10/02/2019 ....
Well, the start of another exciting year for club members and club runs. Members met at Leo's Diner, and prior to departure, a small presentation was made to the Club's newest club member, Bob Breeze. This being done, the group headed-out onto the freeway and travelled down to the Picton Road exit and then onto Mt. Ousley Road. At Albion Park we were joined two club members, and just before Kiama, we were joined by a marked highway patrol BMW, but no problem as we were well-behaved. The cruise continued onto Gerringong and then to Gerroa and the Gerroa Fisherman's Club. Just as we parked, another two club members joined us, and following a quick collective chat, we hastily adjourned into the club and ordered lunch and some thirst-quenching beverages. The Fisherman's Club is always busy on Sundays and advisable to get in early.
The service was excellent, and in no time, the meals were served, and we were tucking into them. There was one late arrival who was able to order his meal as soon as he arrived. As always, time seems to rapidly pass by, and by 2:00pm, it was time to finish-up and head-off.
In closing, I would like to welcome Bob Breeze and to thank him and the other members for making the run to Gerroa the success that it was.
