Run Report ....
Loaded Dog Hotel, Tarago, 14/10/2018 ....
Under grey skies and showers, I arrived at the departure point of Leo's Diner. I would assume that the bad weather had kept the number of attendees down. We headed-off on time and made good progress to Sutton Forrest where we were joined by other fellow club members. After a quick chat, we headed onto our lunch destination; the Loaded Dog Hotel at Tarago.
Not long after arriving, we were joined by Mike and Gabrielle and then we settled-in for lunch. The pub wasn't busy which was probably due to the inclement weather.
Lunch was soon ordered, and sitting around a warm open fireplace was a great way to retreat on such a wet and chilly day.
With lunch over, we moved out into the bar area to consume another drink or two and to solve the world's problems. This also gave me the opportunity to talk about the club's next run to the Torana Nationals in Canberra. Following this, it was time to head-out to the Toranas and to play in the rain once again by heading home.
I thank all who attended on what can only be described as a shocking day, weather-wise, but in great company.
Attendees: Steve, Annie, Julie, Mark, Mike, Gabrielle, Rose, Garold and Bob.
Apologies: Ron, Robin, Gary, Kerrie, Mark, Heather, Lance, Pete, Rob and Sharon.
