Run Report ....
Panorama House, Maddens plains, 20/05/2018 ....
I arrived at the departure point, Leo's Diner, by 10:00am, and with coffee done followed by a short talk about the route we were to take, we then headed-off down the Hume. It was a good run down the freeway to our exit onto the Narellan Road, and on to Appin Road. Coming into Appin we picked-up two more Toranas and from there it was a good run down to our lunch destination at Parorama House, Maddens Plains.
On arrival, we were greeted by another five club members and then we moved inside the venue where we were allocated a table right by the window. What a splendid view overlooking Wollongong.
Lunch was good; comprising a smorgasbord of all you could eat. Lunch lasted about two hours and everbody had a great time eating and socialising. Following lunch, the usual happy snaps were taken, then I gave a talk about the upcoming June run and then it was time to say our goodbyes.
Attendees: Gary, Kerrie, Mike, Gabrielle, Rob, Sharon, Sturt, Anne, Rose, Harold, Annie, Julie, Mark, Angie, Pete and Bob.
Apologies: Steve, Lance, Ron, Robin, Mark and Heather.
Many thanks to everyone.
