Run Report ....

Naval Fleet Air Arm Museum, HMAS Albatross, Nowra, 25 June 2017 ....

Well, what a day to do this run; blue skies, cold wind and just a great day to take the Toranas on a run to the south coast. The group met-up at Leo's diner and by 8:25am we were ready for the trip south to Nowra. Headed out onto the freeway, a bit of traffic to contend with but we soon were out of this.

A pretty good run and coming into Berry, we picked-up three more Toranas. Even with a good run it's still a two-hour run to Nowra. We turned into the musuem carpark to be greeted by Mike, Gabby, Ron, Robin, Greg and Lexa. After a quick talk it was into the musuem where we paid our $10 admission fee and in we went.

This musuem has just got one great collection of planes and naval history. Well worth a trip down to see it. After one and a half hours we were on our way to our lunch spot (the Tavern Pub) where the parking was good as the owner had put aside parking for our group. The pub is well-run and we were tucking into our meals in a very short time.

The food was so good there was little talking once we started eating. After this we sat around chatting and solving the worlds worries. I then thanked all who attended.
