Run Report ....
Lithgow Mountain Cruisers Car Show, 16 October 2016 ....
After an early morning start, our group of six Toranas headed-out from McGraths Hill for a beautiful drive across Bells Line of Road to Lithgow. We were met at the Lithgow Showground by Rob, who had organised the Club's display position right in the middle of the grounds. Following the recent rains the grounds were in great condition and the sight of all those great cars on the manicured green grass was a treat for the eyes.
It was all hands on deck to set up our brand new club marquees and all agreed they looked great. With our seven Toranas there were about 130-odd cars that had made the trip for the show with a real mix of cars on display with some awesome vehicles in attendance.
After a pleasant day with a good crowd in attendance it was time for the trophy presentation with the Club picking-up the best display award, which was great for the first time out with the clubs new marquees. With the crowd heading-out it was time to pack up, and with goodbyes said we hit the road for the trip home.
All in all, a beaut day and thanks to all that attended.
Attendees: Les, Pete, Rob and Leanne, Mark and Jack, Mike and Denise, Steve, Ian and Scott.
Apologies: Mike and Gabby, Bob, Rose and Harold, Gary and Kerrie.
Cheers,
Steve.
