Run Report ....

Kembla Village, 25 September 2016 ....

Our intrepid group met at Padstow Maccas and after greetings and breaky we headed-off for Kembla Village.

Les and Liz led us down through the Royal National Park and we pulled over at the lookout above the sea cliff bridge. This offered the opportunity for a look-see and a bit more chit chat, and after checking our timings, our group decided to keep heading down the coast via the bridge. At this point Steve and Annie took over as run lead. The line of Torries looked great cruising over this spectacular bridge.

After a very relaxing and pleasant run we arrived at Kembla Village Hotel for lunch. We were met here by Rose and Harold. The Hotel is a beautiful, historic old hotel and we were soon tucking into lunch. The service at the hotel was excellent so thanks to the staff for your hospitality.

There was some live music playing in the dining area, which was pretty good but a little loud so our group headed outside to the garden area to continue our conversations. After a while some light rain starting to fall, it was time for goodbyes and we headed off home.

Thanks to all that attended for a great day.

Speedy recovery Bob, hope you are on deck soon mate.

Cheers Steve.

Attended: Les and Liz, Gary and Kerrie, Rose and Harold, Pete, Joe, Mike and Denise, Steve and Annie.
