Mount Victoria, 15 May 2016 ....
Members and family met at the Wascoe Street Coffee Shop, Glenbrook, and by 10:16am, with coffee and drinks finished, I gave a rundown on the route we were to follow to Mt Victoria and headed-off. Being a Sunday, there was a lot of traffic, but in spite of this, we managed to find Joe and Cath amongst the maze along the way. By Katoomba, the traffic had thinned and we reached Mt Victoria by 11:30am where we turned-off the highway and into the pub car park where we were lucky to grab a spot.
It was an extremely cold day cold day and we soon headed inside for warmth. Pub staff quickly took our orders and we were given a long table which accommodated the entire group. Lunch orders were soon on the table, and the food looked superb. Following lunch, two new members were signed-up to the Club. They were warmly welcomed and presented with club caps and car club decals.
By now the day was drawing to a close so we farewelled one another and headed for home.
