Run Report ....

Terrey Hills, 27 October 2013 ....

The group met at Maccas Thorhleigh and we were ready to have a good day. We left on time with Les leading the group and arrived at the toll booth for the run through the Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park only to be informed that it would cost us $11.00 per car to enter. Our run leader said to the toll-keeper we were not stopping to admire the views; merely transiting, but this made no difference to him, so we turned around and headed-back down to the highway. From there it was onto Monavale Road and onto our lunch spot at Terrey Hills (with a slight detour caused by Bob not having a good day). We had a good size table outside and got our lunch in good time. It must have been OK because everyone was quiet. We sat and talked for awhile, took some happy snaps, said our goodbyes and headed for home. I think overall it was a great run and just good weather.

Attendies: Les and Liz, Steve and Anne, Scott and Leanne, Mike M, Mick V and Bob Byrnes.
