Run Report ....
Thirlmere Transport and Railway Museum, 14 August, 2011 ....
The day started-off a bit overcast but this didn't put-off the group who arrived at Leo's Diner.
By departure time we had with us Micheal, Lisa Cody, Jet, Les Joe, Cath, Scott, Leanne and me (Bob). We headed-out onto the freeway had plenty of lookers (notable two of our thin blue line with a camera). As always we were well behaved. This was a pretty easy drive not much traffic.
The group picked-up Rob and the four Shaws on the way (Donna's day-off) before Picton. Arriving at the museum we were meet by Liz and her two grandsons.
The sreamtrain ride was just great. All of the group enjoyed it. The round trip took 45 minutes. Once back at the station we had a guided tour of the museum. We were soon heading-off to our lunch destination. Upon arrival, we were meet by Mike and Gabby.
Lunch orded and eaten, it was soon time to say our goodbyes and head home.
