Run Report ....
Kiama and Jamberoo, 24 July, 2011 ....
We met at 8:45am and left at 9:15am, off down the freeway and turned-off at the Picton turnoff where Rob met us, in an XY Falcon.
Had a good run to Kiama, a little of the cool side, but on the up side the blow hole was working well.
We had a photo shoot at the lighthouse then off the Jamberoo. On the way the Lamborgini club were heading the the opposite direction. Some rubber neckers in front of us caused Mike to test his brakes. Jason and his dad met us on the way in their LC GTR. Lunch was ordered and eaten and after a chat we left. We headed home up over the mountain towards Robertson, lots of trees down and some BIG boulders also after the rain during the week. No stopping at the pie shop. Rob left us at the Bargo turn-off and Mike said his goodbyes at Pheasants Nest.
We all had a good day and are looking forward to the next run to Thirlmere.
Present: Les, Liz, Mike Muller, Scott and Leanne, Rob, Dean and Rory.
Apologies: Bob (with sore ankle), Mike (with jetlag), Lance (distance), Michael Velo (home duties).
