Run Report ....
Wisemans Ferry, 26 June, 2011 ....
It was a good weekend for a run to Wisemans Ferry. It was a foggy trip over to meet everyone at McGraths Hill. It was my turn to lead the run, due to Bob’s work commitments.
Arrived at Mcdonalds, Rob Farnsworth was there with Tracey and Aaron in their UC orange torana. They had come down from Blaxland to come on our run as visitors.
A leisurely drive down to the Sackville ferry, time to chat and take photos. All the cars in the group got on the ferry trip across. Then off to the lookout another chat and photo session. We arrived at the hotel , made our way to the deck as it was a lovely day for eating out and chating.
As we arrived at the hotel some vintage trucks and old tractors were seen. We later found out that there was a vintage truck and tractor show down in the park.
Greg and Lexa Hawkins also joined us for lunch. The band started up and mentioned the Torana and Ford people enjoying lunch and entertainment.
Another club turned up so we finished lunch said our goodbyes and dispersed for a safe trip home.
Thanks to all who turned up, we had good weather for winter and hope to see you on our next run.
