Run Report ....
Berry and Gerroa, 22 August, 2010 ....
This was an early start for everyone. I arrived at the start point to find two visitors already there followed by Les and Liz, Mick, Lisa, Cody and Jet. Already inside having breakfast were Rob and Leanne as well as Joe and Cath and the two Micheals (Velo and Muller).
We were soon on our way and were joined on the freeway by four other Toranas. It didn't take long to get through Bowral and onto Fitzroy Falls. Just after Fitzroy Falls we turned onto the Berry Road which was a bit bumpy but who cares when you are in a Torana!
Stopping at Berry where Mick and Lisa left the group and some enjoyed the retail therapy. Soon, we headed for our lunch spot, the Gerroa Fisherman's Club which offers fabulous panoramic views of the pristine, Seven Mile Beach, along with great food and parking.
Mike Holland was there from the South early and secured an exclusive room for the club lunch.
Following lunch, there was a bit of car perving amongst members and the club's visiting run participants.
Mike H and Rob Shaw were to be seen doing some horse trading of Hatch parts before farewells were made and a pleasant and well organised run concluded.
Rob and the three Shaws headed to the briny for a dip. Brave folk, the south is not noted for it's warm water!
With lunch orded and tucked away the group started to head for home.
Those who attended: Les and Liz, Rob and Leanne, Mick, Lisa, Cody and Jet, Michael Velo, Michael Mueller, Joe and Cath, Rob and the three ShawsScott and Leanne.
