Run Report ....

Fighter World, Williamtown, 22 February 2009 ....

We left Thornleigh McDonalds at the designated time of 8:30 with a group of four Toranas and a Commodore for the run to Williamtown Fighterworld in reasonable weather. Along the F3 Freeway we met up with our Central Coast member Paul at the Warnervale Twin Servos then continued to the end of the Freeway where we met the five Toranas from the Hunter Valley Torana Club.

After a brief meet and greet we continued onto the Fighterworld Museum where we had a walk around and a stretch. Some of the members that had been there previously enjoyed a cuppa or milkshake at the café, while others wandered around looking at the exhibits.

We then continued to the Lunch venue of the Junction Inn where we all ordered our lunch just before a sightseeing cruiser group arrived.

Lunch was had with the usual banter of what was going on within the clubs. The lunch was enjoyable and served hot which was well appreciated by the group all being served together.

After the lunch had settled we departed onto our ways home.

Hopefully a good day was enjoyed by those attending: Bob Byrnes.Les Wilson.Rob, Leanne, Kimberly, Breanna Farnsworth.Michael Muller.Paul, Justin Gilmore.

Apologies, Greg and Lexa Hawkins, Mike Holland, Rob Shaw, Lance Haslewood.

Scott Davidson late apology, something about being sick. Question was asked if his car couldn’t/wouldn’t start or was still suffering from the previous run’s GREMLINS!
